Nursery
St Thomas’s CE Primary School offers high quality provision for children of 2-11 years. Children can join our Nursery at the start of the term after their 2nd birthday. Free nursery education sessions are provided for children aged 2-4 years. We offer both 15 hour and 30 hour sessions (for those who qualify, please see below).
We work hard to ensure that your child settles well, is happy, makes progress and enjoys their learning here with us at St Thomas’s. We provide a calm, nurturing and motivating environment with a curriculum filled with exciting, creative and meaningful learning experiences.
At St Thomas’s, we pride ourselves on providing a well planned and organised play based curriculum where children are supported to develop their independence, make choices and to learn skills and gain knowledge to help them succeed on their learning journey throughout school.
Wrap around care (breakfast and after school club) is available for children the term after they turn 3. For more information, please view our Larks and Owls Policy.
While we can give you an overview of our Nursery on our website, there’s nothing like coming to see us yourself! We do welcome visitors and are always happy to let you come and find about all we have to offer.
Please contact us by phone 01539 737373 or email nursery@stthomas.cumbria.sch.uk to make an appointment.
